Homemade One-Ingredient Parmesan Crisps
A quick, easy recipe for crunchy, salty cheesy crisps great for snacking, salad toppings, or soup garnishes.
Ingredients
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Step-by-Step Baking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a standard baking sheet with parchment paper or a reusable non-stick silicone baking mat for simple cleanup later.
Use a tablespoon to portion the shredded cheese into 16 separate mounds on your prepared baking sheet. Shape each mound to be roughly 2 inches in diameter, and leave at least 1 inch of empty space between each mound to stop them from sticking together while baking. Gently press down the center of each mound to get an evenly thick crisp.
Bake in the preheated oven for 4 to 6 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted all the way through and the edges turn golden brown. Pull the baking sheet out of the oven and let the crisps cool for 15 minutes to set into a crunchy texture. Once cooled, remove the crisps from the sheet and store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They will stay fresh for up to 5 days.
